Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll/Benefits Specialist to join our team in SENOIA, GA for a short-term project. The primary responsibility of this role will be to research and correct missed deferrals of benefits in Fidelity for our 401K program. This will involve going back over a period of 12-18 months to identify and rectify any discrepancies.Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for making payroll adjusting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. While the focus of the role is on the Fidelity project, the candidate should also have experience in processing payroll for up to 250 employees. This secondary responsibility is crucial as we are currently short-staffed in our payroll department.Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify missed deferrals of benefits in Fidelity for our 401K program.

Make necessary adjustments and corrections to ensure accurate accounting and compliance.

Process payroll for up to 268 employees using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) for HRIS.

Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

Maintain detailed records of all adjustments and payroll transactions for audit purposes.

Stay updated on regulatory changes related to benefits and payroll processing.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably in a similar industry.

Proficiency in using Fidelity for 401K administration and UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) for HRIS.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and entry.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.

This is a contract position with an estimated duration of 2-3 MONTHS. The candidate should be available to start immediately and work closely with our finance and HR teams to ensure a successful completion of the project.
