Unpack yarn from pallets
Load yarn onto the creel rack
Splice yarn ends together
Remove empty cones & replace with full yarn cones - starting the process all over
Expected to maintain all housekeeping (primarily cleaning up cardboard & plastic from yarn pallets and sweep up yarn pieces.
Creeler/Mender:
Required to Creel and Mend which will include inspecting creel / tuft to ensure no quality issues
Recognize and identify errors in a timely manner.
Fix mistakes or notify supervisor if mistakes are too large or bad to correct
Requirements:
At least 1-2 years recent Creeling / Mending exp.
Able to stand for 10-12 hour shift
Shift: Normal hours are Mondays to Thursdays / 7am-5pm + Fridays / 7am-3pm during peak timesThe essential functions of this role include:
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 25lbs
standing for 12 hours at one time
working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
