The Data Analyst is responsible for the Logical Data Models and solution design activities of the Decision Support and Governance plan and ongoing participation in the platform development and testing activities. The Data Analyst will develop an understanding of current data state, workflows and processes and develop solutions for integrations, transformations, and deliverables. This will include data analysis, data mining, technical support, and database maintenance to meet internal and external customers' requirements. This role requires demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and recommend the best track for data development and processing. Project work will involve process improvement, quality control, data creation from spatial and tabular sources, conversion, migration, and maintenance. Preferred: Related Work Experience

General knowledge of natural gas distribution facilities, Company policies, procedures and gas operation methods and standards

3 years' experience supporting data solutions

OR Equivalent academic education and experience. Experience with spatial and non-spatial database design, structure, and management including the manipulation of tabular data in GIS, and joining/linking related data

Thorough understanding of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcSDE, versioning, and geoprocessing

Experience incorporating nonspatial enterprise databases with GIS to fulfill analysis requests

Ability to quickly learn new skills and abilities, database technologies, data modeling, and scripting as needed

MS Excel Intermediate/Advanced proficiency

MS Word Intermediate proficiency

MS PowerPoint - Basic proficiency

MS Power BI Intermediate proficiency

Python Intermediate proficiency

SQL and relational databases Intermediate proficiency

Strong written and oral communication skills both upward and downward throughout the organization

Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organization

Strong attention to detail

Ability to read, interpret, and implement codes, standards, and procedures

Strong organizational skills

Ability to identify process improvements and develop appropriate processes and procedures
