Lead a team of business, data, and visualization analysts to support the development of dynamic business intelligence dashboards and data visualizations

Design, build, deploy, and maintain attractive and interactive visualizations that help explain complex issues and support smarter decision-making

Work directly with a diverse set of clients to understand visualization needs and recommend the right set of technologies

Establish data visualization standards and explore cutting-edge tools that support them

Develop an overarching strategy and repeatable processes that support fast implementation of effective visualizations

What you must have:

Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Computer or Data Science, Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Statistics, Graphic Design, or related discipline)

5 years of experience managing and implementing visualization solutions using a wide range of tools such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, ArcGIS Online, Highcharts, and/or D3.js

2 years of experience with agile software development

US Citizen or Permanent Lawful Resident (Green Card Holder) preferred. Employment must be compliant with eligibility for Public Trust Clearance due to Government Contract

What we’d like you to have:

Demonstrated experience showing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills paired with a desire to take initiative to grow our team’s visualization capabilities

Understand concepts and applicable software tools and analytical methodologies for visualizing many different types of data including performance measures, public health, environment, financial, HR/operations

Familiarity with 508 issues and compliance

Off the shelf BI platforms (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI)

Custom web-based visualization libraries (e.g. D3.js)

Experience with map-based visualization tools a plus

Experience with Python/R scripting for visualization a plus
