Delivery Lead

Location: REMOTE -

Washington, DC / Orlando, FL / Atlanta, GA The Technical Operations team is responsible for incident management (intake to resolution), service requests (intake to fulfillment), and system operations (change implementation, upgrade/patch support) activities. This role will work closely with the Customer Success Manager and Project Manager roles, and will be the primary party overseeing the Service Desk and Cloud Infrastructure and Platform delivery.
  • 12+ years’ experience leading technical operations and delivery teams
  • 8+ years of cloud infrastructure / AWS experience
  • Partner and collaborate with business and technology teams, acting as a thought leader and strategist for supporting the KRIS
  • Connected Platform
  • Build & drive the process, change management, and operational efficiencies
  • Work closely with the platform support lead

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Support cloud infrastructure team, with a focus on management and ownership
  • Point person on all support related queries, escalations, etc.
  • Ensure TechOps support to Consulting and Program Management, providing the metrics they want to see/resources they need;
  • interface with leadership and provide performance metrics on TechOps performance
  • Provide coaching, guidance and direction to the service desk and technical leads that operate the system
  • Provide technical design and implementation leadership, including driving quality across the full SDLC working with the KRIS
  • Center of Excellence (COE) team
  • Design solutions that reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value and capabilities, reduce risks, and increase security
  • Develop project estimates to design, build, deliver and run business solutions
  • Collaborate with solution architects in efforts on technology research, evaluations and proof of concepts (POC)
  • Communicate best practices by giving presentations, working with project teams,

Skills :
  • 15+ years of experience in technology, general software development methodologies and practices, implementing applications in distributed processing environments, including relevant architecture experience
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations and communicating technology strategy and direction for all levels of management, end users, and technical staff
  • Ability to translate business needs into engineered solutions using cloud technologies, including conducting POCs to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations, including Container-baased delivery models in AWS
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
  • Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization
  • ITIL Certification desired
  • Report Creation
  • Staffing Schedule creation
  • Experience developing policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies & tools
  • Good Understanding of Engagement Delivery
  • Good understanding of MS Office, ServiceNow Jira, Confluence
  • SOC/ compliance experience (nice to have).
  • Strong Communication
  • Healthcare experience (nice to have).
  • Preferred experience working with state and local governments
