Direct Support Professional Male or Female Driver Needed

Location: Powder Springs, (Cobb) GA 30127

Shift: Monday - Thursday 7am-3pm $15.00 Hourly

Community Integration (Need a Dependable Transportation Driver) Must feel comfortable to drive a 15 passenger van, to and from the community for people who are diagnosed with (IDD) intellectual development disability, to support them in focusing on their Independence and Community Integration.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Advocacy and Communication, including exceptional patience and listening skills

Address individuals' needs with respect and attention to safety

Creating a Safe, Clean, and Supportive Environment

Promoting Skills and Learning

Documentation and Record Keeping on unusual incidents or challenging behavior

Transporting individuals to and from community activities, etc.

Qualifications:

- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required (training will be provided).

- Empathetic and compassionate nature.

- Ability to work independently as part of a team.

- Must pass a background check.

- 7 Years MVR

- CPI

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
