Oversees international outreach efforts by developing international programs and relationships.

Investigates fellowships and other potential funding sources to support the development of international studies initiatives.

Serves as a liaison to organizational international offices and works with administrators to enhance international offerings.

Establishes and manages exchange programs and coordinates participation.

Develops and implements orientation, support and special programs for exchange students as host institution.

Coordinates sessions on exchange programs and presents information on available options.

Assists in recruiting international students to increase international participation in exchange programs.

Selects students who have applied to participate in exchange programs and counsels them on choices and trip preparation.

Arranges for internships and other special support for participating students.

Researches the academic stature of international degrees and degrees from specific institutions.

Provides academic advising for degree seeking students.

Facilitates agreements and provides support in the unique area studies track.

Works with designated travel agent to coordinate trip logistics.

Negotiates fees, examines options, and provides administrative support in travel planning.

Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A master's degree in business administration or a related field and five years of experience in planning, implementing or managing an academic exchange program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
