Duration: 12+ monthsLocation: West Midtown - Atlanta, GADay to Day: This engineer would be responsible for working on the C application of the vehicle! Must haves:

C software development experience (anything above 11, ideally 14).

Experience in embedded programming (or real time programming/multithreaded programming environments).

Experience in any of the following Linux/Unix/QNX – experience (Posix).

Troubleshooting knowledge & debugging on embedded platforms would be ideal.

Strong communication – working with various team members on trouble shooting.

Nice to have:

LOG CAN analysis experience over BUS.

Unit testing/version control systems/scripting language knowledge.

Experience translating technical solutions to non-technical (technical support engineering).

QT knowledge, Javascript, Kotlin, any other UI knowledge.

PTO packages & benefits included. Must have following work status: W2 contractors only Day to day responsibilitiesA) Primary:

Work in a customer-facing field support team to help resolve critical consumer issues with the IVI systems.

Support level 1 through 3 customer support teams to improve customer experience, reduce time to repair, and eliminate replacement of IVI systems to try to fix software issues.

Analyze SW logs and defects and identify software issues and work-arounds.

B) Secondary:

Be a contributing member to an agile team of software developers, test engineers, technical product managers and leads responsible for delivering high quality embedded code running on the processors at the heart of all vehicles

Participate in system design, documentation, and testing to deliver a best-in-class SW solution

Educational: Bachelors and/or Masters Degree Computer Science Hour of operations: Some Saturday shifts (Saturday mornings only), no Sunday, no night shifts, during the week 9-5, 8-4,7-3, 10-6 hitting core hours.
