Communicates hospital's financial policies to all patients.

Identifies patients who require early financial counseling intervention.

Collects on self pay accounts, co-pay and deductibles.

Documents financial arrangements.

Schedules procedures/follow up appointments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must have at least 2 years healthcare related or customer service experience.

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other commercial payers (HMO, PPO) preferred.

Associate or bachelor degree may be accepted in lieu of experience.

Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.

Typing skills with a minimum of 35 wpm and good communication skills.

Dining Service AssociateTeams with unit personnel to assure the delivery of meals to patients in a timely fashion in accordance with defined service standards.

Assures that the tray and all components are accurate and attractively presented.

Assures patients receive the food items they desire, including special requested items within the parameters of the patients diet order.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.

At least two years of college preferred.

Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Experience in a high volume operation preferred. Fast food experience does not qualify.

Demonstrated skills in customer service, critical thinking, problem solving and written and verbal communication.

Ability to make sound judgments while quickly processing information.

Proficient computer and web-based software skills including the ability to adapt to regular changes in software programs and processes.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

Ability push and/or pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds.

Food and Nutrition AssociatePrepares, portions, and serves menu items for general and modified patient diets and for retail food service or catering.

Sets up meal service stations.

Assembles and serves meals in accordance with selected menus, presentation, and portion control guidelines, receives and puts away deliveries.

Maintains clean and sanitary food preparation areas and equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.

One (1) year of food service experience preferred.

Demonstrated skills in customer service, critical thinking, problem solving and written and verbal communication.

Ability to make sound judgments while quickly processing information.

Ability to perform basic tasks on a computer including logging on and off a workstation, checking email and completing annual online employee commitment modules.

Supervisor, Rehab TherapySupervises day to day operations of assigned Rehab Therapy staff and students. Represents the department in interdepartmental projects.

Participates in direct and consultative patient care. Coordinates quality assurance and quality improvement activities.

Performs routine and specialized procedures relating to therapy techniques.

Maintains a high level of proficiency in the technical skills required for managing patient care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate from an accredited program for physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.

Current licensure as a Speech Pathologist, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in the State of Georgia.

Five years of clinical experience required including two years in a management/supervisory role preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.

Speech PathologistProvides comprehensive clinical speech pathology services to patients. Provides testing, analyses, and evaluation of seriously ill patients or those having complex medical problems.

Formulates a treatment plan consistent with the patient's needs.

Assures continuity of care through effective decision-making resulting in quality patient care.

Delivers effective patient care based on collaborative clinical pathways. Anticipates potential patient crisis through continual evaluation of patient outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Georgia.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

One year of Speech-Language Pathology experience.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.

Position is M-F 8:00-4:30, possible weekends

Physicial TherapistProvides comprehensive evaluations and testing, physical therapy treatments and education to seriously ill patients or those having complex medical problems and families which are consistent with patient's individualized needs and carried out within an interdisciplinary environment.

Assists in supervising staff and students and in developing in-service training programs for continuing staff development. Participates in routine evaluations of quality assurance activities and consistency with established standards for patient care.

Provides guidance and instruction on an ongoing basis to ensure efficient operations and supervises students and support staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from physical therapy school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.

One year of experience as a physical therapist.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
