Entry-level Failure Analysis Engineer

Location: Peachtree City GA (onsite is essential)

Duration:

Long Term Contract Candidates with graduate degrees (Masters) will be considered with less experience (1-2 years)

Summary:We are looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer, with 2-5 years’ experience in troubleshooting/analyzing PCB’s to component level.We are not looking to repair the parts; only to determine the cause of the failure.
  • Experience with X-ray equipment, microscopes, oscilloscopes and multimeters a plus.
  • Performs moderate to complex tasks to conduct detailed high level defect investigations to root cause, and works with responsible areas to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Works on assignments where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Normally follows established procedures on routine work, under limited supervision.
  • Requires instructions only on new assignments.
  • A bachelor's degree is required for this role.
