Placement Position: ETL Developer

(Remote & C2H)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY:The ETL Developer is responsible for the design, development and support of ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) components, which will be used to move large amounts of data from source data and software application data stores into the optimized operational databases. This position will be responsible for understanding requirements, designing, developing, and partnering with internal and external IT professionals. The ETL Developer documents all technical and system specifications documents for all ETL processes, performs unit tests on all processes and prepares required programs and script.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar field or equivalent experience
Expertise in a variety of data warehouse applications and tools
SQL Server Integration Services package development, configuration and deployment
Experience with TSQL, performance monitoring and query
Experience with data mapping analysis and design
Familiar with Data Warehouse concepts and experience with Star Schema
Extensive knowledge of data structures, database solutions, and best practice data management principles
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to execute projects independently
Ability to switch easily between different projects and flexibility to handle a rapidly changing environment for large volumes of data
Good knowledge of metadata, and using/managing metadata
Ability to develop and organize high-quality documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Epic Caboodle Administration & Epic Caboodle Developer Certifications preferred
