Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, locate, and transport materials within the warehouse or production facility. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate sit-down forklifts to transport materials between various locations.

Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.

Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.

Conduct pre-operation inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory counts as needed.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Valid forklift operator certification.

Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse setting is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Physically able to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment with potential exposure to noise and varying temperatures.

May require standing for long periods and working in tight spaces.
