Furniture Mover for Home Staging Company

We are hiring an experienced furniture mover for our Home Staging and Interior Design Firm. Details of the role:

-Applicants must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the furniture moving industry

-Hours of operation are Monday - Thursday (no weekends) 8 am - 5 pm

-Option to work 2-4 days per week depending on availability / capability

-$20/hour starting rate with room to grow

-Office/warehouse is based in Chamblee, GA

-No health benefits offered

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

-Positive nature who is a pleasure to be around

-Excellent with clients both face-to-face as well as on the phone

-Can-do attitude even when things are tough or don’t go according to plan

-A team player who naturally follows the Golden Rule of treating others as he wants to be treated

-Likes to have fun even in the mundane day-to-day tasks

PHYSICALLY CAPABLE

-Hard working nature who enjoys manual labor

-Highly experienced in carrying furniture and decor from the truck into homes of varying shapes and sizes

-Great endurance carrying things up and down long driveways, up flights of stairs in townhomes, etc.

DETAIL ORIENTED

-Follow detailed written instructions on items to pull from the warehouse, clients to reach out to in order to schedule delivery, etc

-Proficient in furniture assembly

-Prefers neat, organized environments and enjoys maintaining this environment through daily efforts

TRUSTWORTHY

-Consistently on time

-Does quality work even when no one is looking

-Great time management skills

-Does not need to be heavily managed
