GA barred Civil Litigation Attorney

Tower Legal Solutions has an immediate need for a Georgia licensed, civil litigation attorney to assist our client, a small insurance defense law firm, with a large Georgia caseload. This is an as needed, temporary contract role to cover in person court appearances and live depositions in the following GA counties: Catoosa, Walker, Dade, Chattooga, Gordon, Murray, Floyd, Pickens, Fannin, Gilmer, and Whitfield.

Position Details:

- The duration is TBD

- The hours for this assignment are anticipated to be 10-40 hours max per week as needed

- Normal business hours Monday-Friday

- Pay rate is $75-90/hour, flat- depending on experience.

- Travel Reimbursement will be offered at half rate for windshield time plus mileage.

Assignment Requirements:

- License to practice law in Georgia - active & good standing status 

- 3 to 5 years of general civil litigation experience 

- Insurance defense litigation experience

- Knowledge of Georgia rules of civil procedure, as well as local court rules & practices

- Review of general civil litigation documents, drafting, issue spotting and tagging 

- Ability to cover in person motions & related hearings in Northern Georgia

- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
