General Labor - 3rd Shift Former

FULL-TIME

SUMMARY: The Load Former Operator supports the dry end and the department by performing inspections, identify and fix quantity issues and prepared product to enter the tunnel.

1. Capable of performing all essential functions of the Load Former Operator job as defined in the respective Job Description

2. Inspect product to ensure quality specifications are being adhered to.

3. Inspect and corrects product to ensure the job specs quantity are correct

4. Follow all safety procedures and promote safety & safety programs throughout the facility.

5. Maintain full compliance of all GMPs.

6. Maintain housekeeping excellence in accordance with Golden Broom Program.

7. Participate and ensure department is compliant with YUM!/AIB audit regulations.

8. Ensure daily production standards for efficiency and waste are met or exceeded.

9. Periodically check, repair and ensure all associated tooling is in good working order.

10. Read and understand product specification sheets.

11. Ensure the process runs at the maximum speed possible, while maintaining quality excellence.

12. Communicate any safety or quality issues to the Supervisor immediately

13. Safely assist (within your capabilities) getting the machine back up with minimal down time when the machine goes down.

14. Communicate any machine issues via the work order process.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

Prior work experience in a corrugated manufacturing plant.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:

Criminal background and drug screen check required for hire.

Must have experience in a manufacturing setting.

TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of corrugated die cutting equipment and process.

In depth knowledge of company and customer quality and quantity expectations.

Knowledge of safety, health, and requirements and applicable programs.

Ability to effectively manage time.

Demonstrate ability to organize information.

Shift start: 11:00PM Shift length: 8 hours 3rd Shift Only (11:00pm-7:00am) Monday to Friday
