Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a GIS Analyst in Savannah, Georgia, United States. As a GIS Analyst, you will be pivotal in building, maintaining, and modifying geographic information systems (GIS) databases, interpreting complex imagery, and providing technical capabilities in support of image processing. This role places a strong emphasis on data entry, analysis, and conversion support. Responsibilities: Accurately enter data into Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases using various techniques such as coordinate geometry, keyboard entry of tabular data, and manual digitizing of maps. Facilitate the creation of integrated Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or spatial/non-spatial databases. Develop graphic representations of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data, including the conversion of spatial data between different GIS software and hardware platforms. Interpret and analyze aerial and satellite imagery. Review and evaluate incoming data for its currency, accuracy, usefulness, quality, and completeness of documentation. Transfer or rescale data from original documents, including both hardcopy and digital information, into the GIS environment. Collect and post-process GPS data. Use advanced computer skills to support complex imagery, geospatial, and textual information. Use ESRI suite of products, most notably ArcMap, ArcPro, or CADD experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation. Apply Spatial Data Standard for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) and Microsoft Office in daily tasks.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a GIS Analyst or in a similar role. Proficiency in Cisco Technologies. Experience with Citrix Technologies. Familiarity with Cloud Technologies. Ability to develop and manage iOS Apps. Strong knowledge of Linux Technologies. Experience in AB Testing. Ability to manage Active Directory. Experience with Apple Devices. Familiarity with Backup Technologies. Knowledge of Computer Hardware. Expertise in ESRI GIS. Experience with ArcGIS Server. Proficiency in PostgreSQL. Strong Python programming skills.
