Description We are seeking a Grant Analyst in the manufacturing industry. The role is based in Macon, Georgia and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Grant Analyst, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions and utilizing software systems to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the use of accounting software systems for efficient financial operations. Handle and process grant applications with utmost accuracy and efficiency. Maintain detailed and accurate records of grant applications and their status. Utilize CRM and Crystal Reports for tracking and reporting on grant applications. Conduct regular audits of customer credit records and take appropriate action when necessary. Utilize your knowledge of Accounting Functions to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Benefit Functions will be an integral part of your role, ensuring that all benefits are properly accounted for and managed. Address and resolve customer inquiries related to grant applications in a timely and professional manner. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Proven ability to handle Accounting Functions in a manufacturing setting Familiarity with Benefit Functions in a corporate environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously Prior experience as a Grant Analyst, particularly in the manufacturing industry, will be advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Demonstrated knowledge of financial regulations and legislation Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
