Improve overall user experience&business value of processes&systems supporting HR ops at GT/GTRI. In addition to project work, will provide end user support across many HR related applications.ID improvements/solutions, solicit&analyze user feedback. The Senior Business Analyst will partner with stakeholders to improve the overall user experience and business value of processes and systems supporting Human Resources operations at GT/GTRI. In addition to project work, this position will provide end user support across many HR related applications. This will include proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, soliciting and analyzing user feedback, and proposing solutions. The Senior Business Analyst HR will involve working with tools to provide thorough data analysis and assisting the HR professionals in decision-making. The suitable candidate shall have significant experience within the human resources field and competent computer science skills. Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal customers and in-depth knowledge of their business domains Contribute to system decision-making, scoping, and arranging HR system projects in support of the overall HR strategy Partner with the HR team and other key stakeholders to define reporting requirements while managing stakeholder expectations, developing best practices, solving problems, and implementing improvements to the existing reporting structure Lead projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones Identify opportunities for improvement, working proactively with process owners, end users, and leadership Serves as point of contact for HR business involving the development, implementation, and testing of Human Capital reports and all HR owned data Facilitate implementation of new employee training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives Takes ownership of assigned work, providing high-quality deliverables per the project schedule Provides escalated assistance to users experiencing technical issues or needing additional guidance and responds to assigned system inquiries Identify pros and cons, risks and benefits of solution alternatives and make recommendations Lead a team of stakeholders and technical experts in selecting 3rd party products Determine and perform necessary functional configurations of unfamiliar 3rd party systems Provide project level analysis producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan) Serve as a resource to customers, other Business Analysts, Project Managers, Data Analysts, testers, developers, and others Education and Experience (required) Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field 8-10 years of business analysis experience Qualifications (required) Above average analytical and conceptual thinking; resourceful problem-solving Quick grasp of new information and ability to lead stakeholders to articulate core hidden needs Ability to bring clarity and order to ambiguity, to reverse engineer and explain undocumented functionality Flexibility in adjusting to changing business requirements to support evolving needs Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to tailor communication to different audiences, such as management, business stakeholders, users, SMEs, developers, and others Ability to lead diverse or disconnected stakeholders to a consensus on a shared solution that would benefit t the whole organization Attention to detail in verbal and written interactions; strong listening skills Minimum of 5 years of functional experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x Functional experience with one or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: HR Core, Global Payroll, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Time and Labor, Talent Acquisition, Workflow and Self Service Excellent documentation skills with clear and concise presentation Great organizational and time management skills Experience performing full functional testing with low incidence of bugs in the final deliverable Basic SQL skills, including queries with multiple table joins Experience writing requirements for and testing data feeds and reports Additional Qualifications (preferred) Skills in writing SQL queries with multiple table joins and subqueries; data testing using SQL Experience working with vendors on 3rd party implementations Value-driven decision-making skills ERP implementation experience in large scale projects Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field Required 0 Basic SQL skills, including queries with multiple table joins Required 5 Minimum of 5 years of functional experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x Highly desired 5 Functional experience with 1 or+ PeopleSoft modules:HR Core,Global Payroll,Base Benefits,Benefits Admin,Time&Labor,Talent Acquisition Workflw&Self Srv Highly desired 5 Skills in writing SQL queries with multiple table joins and subqueries; data testing using SQL Desired 5
