Onsite Required: Due to the essential nature of the work to be performed, this position REQUIRES the selected candidate to work ONSITE for the duration of the assignment. Candidates will not be permitted to work remotely Local Area candidates Job Summary: DevSecOps practices in using automation (CI/CD), containers, orchestration, and virtualization to deliver compute, storage, services, and applications Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Plans and schedules team resources, status reporting and completion of required documentation for team assignment and projects. Analyzes and develops work or project plans for team assignments. Analyzes and implements solutions to problems associated with assignments. Demonstrates project leadership. Coordinates the integrated systems integrity; provides the coordination, communication and project structure between users of Information Services and third-party software vendors or programmers; provides systems and installation support and user training. Develops and controls the project schedules, and assigns responsibilities where appropriate. Accountable for all aspects of software development, systems design and analysis and project planning and management. Provides thought leadership and direction to other solutions architects. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Provide Architecture leadership for inter-program and inter project technology prioritizing, sequencing, selection and solution decisions Communicate and promote Enterprise Architecture practice cross IT and business Establish and maintain contacts within IT and with business units to understand business drivers, requirements, solutions strategies and alternatives Conduct on-going research and assessment of new technologies and approaches for potential use in the Enterprise Create, update, and maintain Enterprise Architecture deliverables Serve as an advisor to business and IT management on technology strategies Support enterprise architecture transformation Develop technology strategies taking into consideration technology trends, vendor strategies, products, and customer preferences Contribute and influence Mentor, coach and guide other architects, technical leads and subject matter experts Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related specialty from an accredited college or university, and fifteen years of job specific experience that includes system analysis, design and development, and relationship management.
