Position: Java Developer Location: Onsite(Alpharetta, GA) Duration: 8+ month contract Required Skills: Need one with about 6 years - Java 8 currently and will be planning to move to Java 11 in 2022, depending on cloud migration - Spring Boot, Micro Services - MySQL or any SQL (needs to be strong - create queries, indexes, understanding of indexes) - Github - No API work needed - Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, Eclipse (what we used but no needed) Azure is a plus (HIGHLY preferred) Skills:

• This is a Spring Java developer on an enterprise Web Application , Required Spring, Tomcat, MySQL, JSP, Spring MVC, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Jquery, React, Angular, AJAX, Soap web service, JEE, Design Patterns
• Capable of learning and working on a complex system quickly
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
• Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
• Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery (Required)
• Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue

• Write Application code with highest quality, secure and unit tested. All code must follow the coding and security standards.
• Coordinate with others within the team and organization for the betterment of the products we are tasked with delivering.
• This includes being aware of development efforts in other components that might impact application.
• Clearly express your ideas and solutions to team members, other departments and managers.
• Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.
• Training and guiding junior developer.
• Solving production issues.

• The project is a risk defense platform
• Banks will come to LexisNexis to validate risk of an individual
• They will check the devices individuals use, addresses, essentially preventing fraud and data phishing/mining risks

• They will receive a ticket telling the candidate what is needed
• The team consists of 25 people, divided into 4 smaller teams interacting on a daily basis
• They will be on their own when it comes to Java, Spring and MVC and the technical side
