Java Software Developer REMOTE
About This company has created an application for your phone that assists in delivering anything to your front door. From groceries to school supplies, this app sends an "assistant" to run any errands for you and deliver them to you. We are building out an office right here in Atlanta, GA, and are looking for backend Java Software Engineers to join the team. If you are a Software Engineer looking to be a major part of growing company and building out a scalable platform, this position is for you! Responsibilities- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years' software development experience
- 2+ years' experience in Java development
- Spring, Spring Boot, SQL
- AWS or other cloud experience is preferred
- Experience with test-driven development
- Bonus OR Commission eligible
