job summary:
This position requires an individual who is a highly skilled IT professional to lead all facets of system development within Power BI. The ideal candidate would be responsible for implementation of information technology projects for the IT Portfolio Management Office. Project responsibilities include: plans, resource planning, technical leadership, system integration and technical architecture. Operational support responsibilities include managing work assignments and deliverables towards the development of Power BI reports. Additionally, you'll also be expected to provide enhancements to the reports and resolution of defects. This position reports directly to the IT Department Manager for the Portfolio Management Office. Requirements -- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, engineering or equivalent field.
- Proficient Power BI experience.
- Minimum 1-2+ years' experience in data warehousing projects, data preparation, and data gateways. They should be experienced and familiar with other Business Intelligence analytical tools such as SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and SQL.
- Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and reporting.
- Aggregate views of data sources into meaningful hierarchies.
- Develop Power BI reports and analyses with direction from other senior members on the team.
- Present findings to leads using visual storytelling.
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
- Have a team first attitude with the success of the team and business partners as top priority.

- Be compliant with IT controls for required products. Ensure planning, implementation, and appropriate controls are in place to meet information security requirements and tasks.
