Genuent is looking for a freelance, motivated, and enthusiastic Product Design Lead, dedicated to customer or employee experience, from discovery, to concept, and design of the experience. This is a remote role and will be working west coast hours. This is a 6+ month contract with a tentative start date of June, 27. . As a Product Design Lead you'll have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, creating UX wireframes, in addition to the visual design leveraging brand guidelines as well as a design library of elements and components used in Sketch and then exported to Invision for review, while considering responsive screens layouts. The team works very collaboratively to explore design flows creating better experiences for financial administrative users. You will work with a team of designers, design principal and a strategy team to build meaningful experiences for our leading financial client, Vanguard.The ideal candidate is a poised, quick-thinking design problem solver and team-player with a dynamic personality. Bonus points if you're open minded, good with change, and have a fabulous sense of humor.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Responsible for interaction design, task flow, behavior, and navigation content
  • Create UX strategy, develop customer scenarios, conduct journey mapping, and collaborate on persona development
  • Collaborate with Consumer Insights, Analytics/Data Science, and clients to apply data and insights to UX design decisions and to determine UX success metrics & KPIs
  • Actively collaborate in cross disciplinary idea generation and client co-creation sessions
  • Articulate rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs
  • Define processes and deliverables which meet project goals and meet operational, cultural and technology constraints
  • Present to clients and explain the logic supporting the designs created
  • Guide the creation of digital designs that will attract and convert users
  • Review/critique design across our specialty lanes for work that must be on-brand and meet business objectives.
  • Drive continuity/cohesiveness between all digital mediums
  • Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong collaboration, listening and communication skills. Ability to conduct and moderate meetings, discussions, workshops within the team and with clients
  • Must have experience working in healthcare or for a healthcare provider.
  • Appreciation, curiosity, and collaboration with the other domains and disciplines in the team
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Exhibit empathy, flexibility, and deep curiosity into our clients' and end-user problems and challenges.
  • Ability to innovate and create new solutions to business, technology and customer experience challenges.
  • Understand our client's brand and how best to express it for the experience we are designing
  • Ability to translate human insights into strong designs that create a solution for a human need in a way that resonates with those humans
  • Communicates thoughts and design decisions with conviction and is confident to share one's point of view in team and client meetings, as well as in written documents and presentations.
  • Ability to communicate designs effectively with development teams. Open to understanding design constraints from technology and to iterate to find compromises when needed.
  • Ability to carefully listen and process input from either Client or Agency and question it to assure validity versus other alternatives.
