Description We are offering a employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in Atlanta, Georgia. This role functions within the legal industry, where you will be tasked with various responsibilities including managing calendars, drafting pleadings, and electronic filing. Responsibilities: Accurately prepare and draft pleadings and motions from given templates Efficiently manage and coordinate calendar schedules Handle electronic filing (e-Filing) tasks Prepare and organize outgoing mail Conduct dictation and transcription tasks when necessary Monitor and take necessary action on customer accounts Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records Resolve any customer inquiries in a timely manner.Requirements Possess strong skills in Calendar Management, to effectively schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and deadlines. Have substantial experience in Defense Litigation, including knowledge of legal terminologies, court procedures, and documentation. Demonstrate proficiency in e-Filing, with the ability to manage electronic database and file systems accurately and efficiently. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Must showcase strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all legal documentation and correspondence. Hold a degree in Law or a related field, or possess relevant work experience in a legal environment. Demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. Have a strong understanding of confidentiality protocols and adhere to them strictly. Possess excellent research skills to gather and analyze legal information efficiently. Must be proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite for various administrative tasks. Have strong problem-solving skills to resolve legal and administrative issues effectively. Should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Have a proactive approach to work, with the ability to take initiative in challenging situations. Should have excellent organizational skills to manage legal documentation and records efficiently. Must be able to comply with all legal standards and regulations.
