Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:- Senior Engineer that will participate in the deployment and onboarding of Configuration Management capability to technology groups.
- This individual provides recommendations on the how to integrate the capability into existing core processes, training new users on how to leverage capability to meet their application support team needs to reduce risk by identifying configurations differences across core infrastructure.
- The individual will be responsible supporting overall objectives in onboarding capability to reduce risk exposure to application.
- Individual will recommend the appropriate solution and is responsible for delivery of aligned capabilities across critical business applications.
- Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource providing leadership in the execution against project timelines in an individual contributor role.
- 4 year college degree preferred.
- 2+ years Development or Architecture experience for multi-tiered business applications.
- 4+ years production systems engineering and/or support role.
- Proven experience with supporting technologies and ensuring deployment and adoption.
- Knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services, processing, monitoring, shell scripts, etc.
- Proven experience in Python is a plus.
- Proven experience in web and application product configuration management including administration.
- Proven experience in N-Tier Architecture supporting a multitude of products (Webserver, Middleware, Database, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL functions and processes.
- An excellent communicator, able to network and influence across multiple levels is required of this role.
- A self-motivated, hands-on, driven individual with strong leadership skills.
- A strategic thinker who can link business context to technical reality.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working and being successful in a large, multi-data center enterprise environment. Business acumen is a plus. Communication and flexibility are important skills for this role, as you will be responsible for the adoption of enterprise capability framework.
