job detailsA national law firm providing legal services to financial insitutions seeks a Litigation Attorney - Collections for their Atlanta office. This role is hybrid with 3 days in office/week. The Litigation Attorney will be working on consumer and commercial collection matters, managing cases from inception to completion. Position requires (a) 1 year of collections litigation experience; (b) an active license to practice in GA; (c) experience with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (“FDCPA”) is preferred but not requiredsalary: $70,000 - $113,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities
Handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment.
Attend court hearings (both telephonic and in person).
Prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment.
Manage assigned case load in manner that meets goals and client expectations.
Handle escalated and time sensitive matters as needed.
Other duties and special projects as needed.
