Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Summary:The Industrial Power Systems Division has an exciting opportunity for an Order-To-Delivery (OTD) Logistics Associate in Griffin, Georgia. As a Logistics Associate, you will become a member of the team that lives daily the team culture, understands and accepts plant policy, procedures and practices. Operate and maintain an environment that is safe and clean

Adhere to established standards, policies and procedures relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, attendance, quality of work life, IS09000 certification, and audits

Spend 95% to 100% of the time standing, in a warehouse/manufacturing setting

Coordinate the flow of materials to meet customer and business needs

Use software for managing warehouse processes

Transport materials using manual labor, equipment, or automated methods

Other duties as assigned

What you will have:

Previous experience in logistics or warehouse setting

Experience or willingness to operate a forklift, cherry picker, or other heavy machinery

Must be able to work overtime as required

Good communication and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Must be capable of working in a participative, team-based culture

Must demonstrate reliability and quality awareness

What would make you a top candidate:

1-year experience in a warehouse/logistics setting or currently work at Caterpillar as a contingent/agency employee

Certified to operate a forklift, cherry picker, reach truck or other related machinery

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Shift

Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Overtime as required.

$17.00 hourly starting payrate

40-hour work weeks with potential for Overtime
