Mainframe DeveloperPrimary Location – Atlanta, Georgia V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Mainframe Developer for our premier client in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 11 month contract position. Education and Experience »- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in computer science or management information systems.
- COBOL in AS/400 environment – 3+ years.
- DB2 SEQUEL (SQL) experience – 3+ years.
- Ability to research issues – 3+ years.
- Excel - 3+ years.
- Self-motivated, independent worker.
- Production support experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:Job Responsibilities »- CrossPointe/TERMS production support.
- Under broad supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs computer software.
- Researches and analyzes program or systems problems and develops program documentation.
- Translates business requirements into development activities in secure and maintainable code.
- Must be local to Metro Atlanta & available to start immediately.
