Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician

Maintenance technician at a multifamily property in Macon, GA. Duties will include interior and exterior apartment maintenance. Experience with light plumbing, residential repairs, electrical, and drywall preferred. Pay rate based on experience.

This is a 1099-Contractor Position: Temp/Perm Parttime or Fulltime

Maintenance Technician Pay Rate: $19.00/Hour

HVAC Technician Pay Rate: $28.00/hour

As an independent contractor you will be responsible for providing the majority of your tools.

Applicant Processing: Must Complete & Pass Background Check

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the completion of preventative maintenance.

Responsible for assigning and or completing daily work orders.

Supervise and or assist with Unit turnovers and Make Ready efforts.

Responsible for the repair of HVAC units, appliances, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and carpentry.

Inspect buildings and grounds for safety hazards and take corrective action when necessary.

Schedule and coordinate repairs with outside vendors.

Maintenance supervisor is responsible for training and mentoring maintenance staff and conducting performance evaluations.
