Maintenance Technician–Residential Property (Savannah, GA)

We are a small, growing real estate company looking for a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to care for a 40+ -unit community just outside Downtown Savannah. You’ll work directly with ownership (no corporate red tape), have steady hours, and be valued for the quality of your work.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, light electrical, and general maintenance issues

Complete apartment turnovers: painting, drywall repair, minor carpentry, cleaning, appliance troubleshooting

Handle work orders promptly and communicate clearly

Maintain property grounds and common areas

Keep tools, supplies, and maintenance rooms organized

Occasionally coordinate with vendors if needed

What You Need

5+ years residential maintenance, handyman, or trades experience

Basic skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances

Ability to work independently and make good decisions

Smartphone and reliable transportation

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Strong communication and customer service skills

Basic tools

Bonus if you have:

EPA certification, HVAC repair experience, or carpentry skills.
