- Maintain current knowledge of the competitor landscape (platform, product offering, industry focus, strengths/weaknesses) to help shape strategy
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Products Department
- Enforce consistency across compliance products (look and feel, specifications, coding, testing, data creation)
- Communicate corporate goals and strategies and ensure resources are tasked to achieve success
- Coordinate delivery of development (beta) and production releases that meet quality assurance standards
- Identify and promote product innovations; work to eliminate product deficiencies
- Identify and document constraints and assumptions related to the Compliance Products
- Interact with Partners and customers re: product support, including deliveries’ scheduling, enhancements and fixes
- Act as liaison between Sales, Marketing and IT teams to support product positioning and customers’ requests as part of new product development; respond to associated requests as necessary
- Manage staff in multiple work groups including hiring/terminating, mentoring and writing/conducting performance reviews
- Maintain a highly qualified staff
- Maintain currency and the highest level of industry wide application knowledge to support the Client products
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in CS, IS or MIS preferred
- 5 years of technical and/or project management experience
- 8 years of technical and/or project management experience
- This position is subject to a background check
- Strong payroll domain experience
- 10 years software development and / or application software support experience required
- Experience balancing, producing and filing W2s and 1095 and 1099
- Experience producing tax payments for a processor or a large multi-state employer
- Experience balancing payroll amounts for state and local tax payments and filings
- Familiarity negotiating with authorities on notices and penalties and abating same
- Experience preparing amendments
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, decision-making, and organization skills to work with cross-functional teams.

- Strong familiarity with project management software
