The successful Manager, Software Quality Assurance will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership in the management and delivery of Information ServicesTechnology infrastructure. This includes the development, implementation and administration of technology strategy and operations. Specific accountabilities include strategy,architecture, configuration management, and administration and operation of enterprise-wide data center operations and associated technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Drive QA alignment with Business Unit (BU) / Business Analyst (BA) priorities• All features and uses cases have adequate test cases created in Quality Tracking and Management System (QTMS)• All test cases are written to support Automation• Build and maintain internal and aggregate capacity and utilization plan• Maintain ultimate responsibility for the Quality of projects, release and deployment• Collaborate with support organization to resolve customer issues within SLA• Cooperate with other QA leaders to develop the highest quality processes• Create and publish test plans for each release• Analyze defect type and timing to drive quality upstream• Analyze user story acceptance criteria and develop quality test cases to support them• Challenge processes for continual improvement• Foster a culture of innovation by driving "big" thinking and energize direct reports• Actively participate in cross- business unit project planning and monitoring to insure timely delivery of priority initiatives• Participate in BDP and BU strategic and tactical planning• Cascade performance period goals to direct staff that support BU initiatives

Qualifications: Education:• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, or 12 years of experience in QA/Development required.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and TOOLSExperience:• 5+ years of QA testing for desktop applications, preferred.• 5+ years of leading staff, required.• 2+ years of experience working off-shore teams, preferred.Knowledge:• Agile development practices, CCMI, Lean, and SCRUM methodologies, preferred• Automation testing, preferred• Performance and Stress testing, preferred

Tools:• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook), Visual Studio Test Manager, HP Quick Test Pro or similar tools
