We are seeking a Managing Director to join our Global Strategic Advisory Group . This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Global Strategic Advisory Group , whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Managing Director. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of global bankruptcy, valuation and litigation support expertise but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.  J.S. Held’s Global Strategic Advisory Group provides companies, their investors, legal counsel, financial institutions, with the information required to make well-informed business decisions and to support as appropriate critical analysis and strategic thinking in support of litigation, valuation and bankruptcy matters.  With experts located across the globe, we support clients in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. Our Strategic Advisory Group has openings available at the Managing Director level. The candidate will join an experienced and closely-knit team of professionals, with deep experience in leading, planning and solving the most complex client situations.  Job ResponsibilitiesProviding unparalleled expertise in valuation, litigation and bankruptcy insolvency matters and financial advisory roles of our clients;Providing expert testimony on behalf of our clients in related matters;Leadership and completion of various forms of assignments relating to client matters of valuation, litigation, bankruptcy and related strategies as applicable; ;Remain available to provide financial , valuation and bankruptcy expertise and insight in support in certain instances for investment banking clients relating to our Phoenix IB practice;Production of written reports, often with tight deadlines;Provide marketplace leading skills in business development efforts to develop and further cultivate both existing and new referral source relationships within the legal, lending and investor communities in generating revenue opportunities;Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement go to market strategies related to driving revenue growth;Provide support in other ad-hoc tasks as requested.
