As a Manufacturing Associate, you will become a member of the team that lives daily the team culture, understands and accepts plant policy, procedures and practices. Operate and maintain an environment that is safe and clean
Adhere to established standards, policies and procedures relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, attendance, quality of work life, IS09000 certification, and audits
Align material and put together parts to build 400 series engines
Spend 95% to 100% of the time standing, producing quality product
What you will have:
Basic understanding of engines and manufacturing operations
Previous experience with assembly job functions
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Must be able to work overtime as required
Must demonstrate reliability and quality awareness
Must be capable of working in a participative, team-based culture
What would make you a top candidate:
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
1 year assembler experience or a current contingent/agency employee
Current or previous 400 series engine assembly experience at IPSD Griffin
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
Shift
Monday – Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Overtime as required.
