Join us as we continue to innovate, inspire, and make history in the world of aerospace and defense.Position will report directly to Marietta Fabrication leadership supporting C-130, F35 and F-16 manufacturing, managing in a union environment.What You Will Be Doing Requires individual to provide technical and management oversight to various business segments within the manufacturing organization. Candidate history should show evidence of successful management abilities. Required to meet establish objectives while accomplishing continuous improvements in safety, quality, schedule, cost, and workforce satisfaction through subordinate supervisory staff. Ability to communicate and coordinate shop activities from various business units is a must. Ability to monitor, control and track area related budgets. Requires intermediate level of computer skills. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills are also required.Candidate background should include various manufacturing processes related to a production. Experience with manufacturing activities including: facilities and capital planning, tool utilization, manufacturing plans, work flows, &/or crew loading.Desired Skills: Experience with manufacturing processes related to a true production and represented workforce environment. Technical skills in multiple fabrication disciplines. Ability to value and leverage diversity to achieve inclusive culture and environment. In-depth knowledge of AS9100 requirements and process as related to manufacturing environment. Candidate should have a thorough understanding of process improvement and lean methodologies principles. Have skills in determining, organizing and tracking Root Cause/Corrective Action execution. Uses earned value management tools to manage production task execution is a plus.
