This position develops and implements business development strategies in order to expand client relationships and increase revenue and brand recognition, while overseeing the business development team members and departmental processes.As a Market Manager, Employment, you will:Manage the workflow and performance of two Business Development team membersProvide ongoing performance feedback and participate in the annual staff performance evaluation processIdentify and analyze opportunities for new business, client growth and cross-sellingPrepare and present proposals to practice group leaders and partnersServe as lead point person for the execution of numerous client and designated practice group events, including content development, speaker and sponsor management, marketing strategy, attendee targeting, follow up and reporting.Oversee the request for proposal (RFP) management process for the designated practice areaDevelop strategic response plans and review and approve written materials and presentationsManage, review and track the business development budget for the designated practice groupManage lateral partner integration programs, including creating plans, tracking progress and preparing reportsConsult with attorneys to develop and monitor individual business development goals and plansReview collateral for the designated practice group, including practice-wide communications, brochures, and presentationsMonitor client and industry trendsJob Requirements:Bachelor's degreeAt least seven (7) years of related work experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)Knowledge of client relationship management (CRM) softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong leadership skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to handle and maintain confidential informationAbility to travel and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hoursAbility to work independently and under own direction and initiativeWe continue to prioritize the health and safety of our McDermott workforce.
