Job Description/Responsibilities: The Endpoint Support Engineer is responsible for support of endpoint devices within their facility. A thorough understanding of user and business needs are essential. In this role, an Endpoint Support Engineer has a good understanding of user and business needs. Design, implement and support approved technical solutions as well as resolve endpoint issues. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Designs, implements, and deploys platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
  • Provides intermediate-level technical support and monitors multiple technology domains/platforms through the use of monitoring tools and applications.
  • Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
  • Tests and evaluates IT vendor products.
  • Updates, writes,
  • and maintains documentation for the department.
  • Provides Production support for assigned systems including on-call rotation support.
  • Participates in diagnosing and resolving technical issues with assigned systems.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in managing and supporting security tools, including product installations, upgrades, and technical support across multiple platforms including one or more of the following:
  • OS Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Linux,
  • Skills with AWS are a plus
  • Proficient experience packaging, installing, and maintaining 3rd party vendor products in a large enterprise.
  • Understanding of VM and VDI provisioning processes
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing Cybersecurity technologies, tools, techniques, and concepts
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within agreed-upon timeframes and with minimum coaching
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or engineering is required, master's degree is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in managing and supporting security tools, including product installations, upgrades, and technical support across multiple platforms.
