MUST HAVES: Hands on design and coding experience; financial industry experience; long term project history; current location in ESD time zone areaThis role reports into the Centralized Fee Billing Technology team, responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of Centralized Fee Billing and Fee Reversal Platform. Leveraging resources from across the firm, we provide the ability to reverse out Client Fees against the Discretionary Fee Waiver Allowance or Branch Budget for all types of Non-Advisory Accounts. The candidate would play a developer role on the team with the following responsibilities:
  • Design, code, and implement highly scalable and reliable web-based applications.
  • Coordinate with other teams, business and vendors as necessary.
  • Deliver on all phases of development work from initial kick-off, technical setup, application development, and support.
  • Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
  • Perform ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement
  • Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Quickly generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedback
  • Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices

Primary Skills / Must have
  • Experience in developing web based, client-server, distributed, real-time applications using C#, Web API, Rest API, WCF Service, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, & .NET Core.
  • 8+ years of experience in development
  • Experience designing decoupled architecture using message queuing (IBM MQ) or service bus (Kafka)
  • Good knowledge and experience in front end technologies like JavaScript, Angular, HTML5/CSS3, AJAX.
  • Experience any SQL relational database like SQL Server / Oracle / Sybase can be considered.
  • Experience working with Source Code Management solutions like GIT, Perforce, CVS, Stash and Continuous build integration tools like Team City
  • Involvement in full Software Development Life Cycle of the project and experience of working in Agile teams, Agile Methodology like Scrum
  • Strong object-oriented design and development skills
  • Experience in testing software methodologies such as Unit testing, Integration Testing, performance testing
  • The candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exposure to the financial services industry.
  • Experience in working on Cloud native architecture in Azure, or AWS.
  • Experience with microservices, docker containerization, and orchestration.
