Network Engineer.

Position type: Full-time Contract

Duration: 8+ Months

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid Onsite) As a Network Engineer, you will:
  • Review Network topology of Merger and Acquisitions
  • Build Plan and Implementation of newly acquired Company with client Topology.
  • Build VPN Connectivity and implement firewall rule.
  • Implement Network connectivity compliant with client Network Security standards and
  • Experience with the creation and maintenance of DNS records and DNS zones
  • Experience with IP address management, including management of IPv4/IPv6 address blocks and DHCP.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with IPv4 and IPv6
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with networking hardware.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against deadlines.
  • Experience working in global team environments and solving problems around the world.
  • Working knowledge of scripting and programming as it relates to network automation (Bash, Python, Perl) and deployment.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and WLAN (MPLS, Internet, etc.).
  • Working experience of Network based firewalls.
  • Experience in AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform Network services (VPC Routing, TGW, DxGW, Security Groups, VPC Firewall, Cloud NAT, NAT Gateway, Load Balancers)
  • Maintain and create useful, accessible, network documentation that can be shared with internal users, other teams, and auditors.
  • Track and monitor network performance and throughput in ongoing effort to right size primary and secondary network links (LAN, WAN, and WLAN).
  • Continue to drive existing and establish new company wide standards across remote sites and data centres.
  • Enable the business while maintaining strong security posture within network best practices framework.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 10+ years of enterprise and data center network engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with Routing (BGP, OSPF) and Switching (Spine & Leaf)
  • Subject Matter Expert on Network Optimization, Network Security (Firewalls & Proxies)
  • Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls, Fotigate, and Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Experience working with ISP Provider like AT&T, Verizon, Lumen
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS and /or Google Cloud Platform) network design, configuration and implementation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret network traces and utilize TCPDUMP to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
  • Working knowledge of InfoBlox DNS solution, AWS Route 53, Google Cloud DNS
  • Working knowledge of F5 LTM; F5 & Akamai GTM
  • Excellent written, verbal, and documentation skills.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: Between $80 - $85 per hour.Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
