Collaborating with a team of analysts, theselected candidate will be responsible for modeling andanalysis of military systems to quantify the impact ofoperational concepts, air vehicle design, payloads, andtactics. Analyses performed will support requirementsdefinition, mission effectiveness, system of systemevaluation, and military utility assessment for a broadspectrum of missions including combat air, intelligencesurveillance-reconnaissance, and air mobility.Responsibilities will include researching and modelingmilitary systems performance and operations; developinganalytical methods and simulations to facilitate analyses;executing trade studies; performing data analytics andstatistical analysis; and developing effective presentationsthat succinctly communicate results and findings.The team is seeking a candidate who can applyengineering techniques, analytical methods, and criticalthinking to inform and improve decision-making andquantify value proposition for advanced concepts andtechnology applications. We need a candidate who ispassionate about working on cutting-edge design conceptsand technology; driven to learn and explore new areas;enjoys being part of a team and thinks strategically andcreatively with proven analytical and engineeringproblemsolving skills. As a member of a high-performingmulti-site team, the successful candidate mustdemonstrate effective communication and interpersonalskills as the position will require frequent interactions andcollaboration with leadership, project leads, other teammembers, and engineers in other disciplines. The ability towork in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment iscritical. The ability to travel on occasion is required.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor or above degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Physics.Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
