You will focus on the development of stored program units and on ease of use, code quality, and productivity, to deliver product capabilities and solutions.What you will do:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and design solutions to fulfill those requirements

Develop and unit test changes and provide UAT support

Identify root causes of production issues, implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues in production moving forward, and provide immediate solutions

Optimize database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code

What you will need to have:

4-7 years of experience modeling, developing, programming, implementing, tuning and maintaining application systems using Oracle PL/SQL

4-7 years of experience designing Oracle database applications, database schemas, stored procedures, functions and triggers using PL/SQL

4-7 years of experience with shell scripting, PL/SQL packages, procedures, materialized views, and functions

4-7 years of experience working on all phases of the data development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to testing, implementation and support

4-7 years of experience with relational databases, query design, report design, job automation, scheduling, Oracle database architecture, the data dictionary views, as well as working knowledge of SQL Server development, tunning and support.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

What would be great to have:

4-7 years of experience in the financial services, payments, or banking domains

Advanced degree or certifications
