Through systems expertise, cloud technologies, automation, detailed problem solving, and collaboration with the business, the Technology Platforms team leads the implementation and maintenance of large and complex solutions that run behind WestRock's business applications. The Platforms Agile Project Manager facilitates the delivery of Technology Platforms solutions. The Agile Project Manager may join Agile Platforms teams to execute where their skills are required such as coordinating testing, facilitating design, process design or process improvement. The Agile Project Manager also participates on a program team and partners with other practitioners to contribute to process improvement and program delivery.How you will impact WestRock:
Facilitate the delivery of medium to complex solutions such as integrations, data center migrations, new technology implementation, or hardware replacements
Collaborate with executive stakeholders to identify objectives and report progress
Identify opportunities to partner with other project managers and practitioners on co-dependent delivery
Help facilitate the identification of objectives, their success measures and value delivered
Contribute to the agile methodology, mentor other agile project managers
Assist in educating other departments as needed in the agile delivery methodology
Champion a culture of data informed decision making, agility and continuous improvement
What you need to succeed:
2-5 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work experience
Strong understanding of solutions delivery lifecycles including both Agile and Waterfall methods.
Strong understanding of Lean, Agile and SDLC methodologies
Strong understanding of Project Management fundamentals
Passion to relentlessly improve our organization
Must be comfortable working with all layers of an Enterprise Organizational Chart
The ability to collaborate with the PMO on Project, Program and Portfolio concepts and assist in design and delivery methods with progress tracking.
Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Credentialed in one or more industry accepted Agile competencies such as CSM or CPO
Familiarity with process improvement competencies such as Lean Six Sigma
Familiarity with IT Service Management, ITIL best practices
Familiarity with ALM tools such as Azure DevOps
