Purpose Floor & Decor Senior Configurator primary responsibility includes system configuration, testing, and supporting Supply Chain production applications.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
  • 7+ years System configuration & implementation experience required to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Experience with Supply Chain industry applications such as OMS/WMS/TMS/DFIO with configuration knowledge
  • Knowledge in any Manhattan Associates software products or knowledge of similar supply chain software products from other software vendors is an added advantage
  • Experience with SQL (oracle) and XML/XSL syntax and JSON
  • Experience with Excel (vLookup, Macros).
  • Experience in any test management and change management software such as qTest (Test Case management tool) and Service Now (Help Desk Software).
  • Experience with Agile development methodology to support Product Manager / Product Owner is identifying User Stories, write user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning etc.
  • Understand system integrations and performing system configurations and testing based on end-to-end system data flow and functional flows.
  • Understand technology limited to the database tables, integration architecture
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and data analysis skills, and decision-making skills
  • Identifies risks and issues and escalates as necessary. Researches and document recommendation or solutions for upgrades, improvements, issue resolution to ensure a stable, available and protected technical infrastructure
  • Experience with training and providing guidance to junior team members
  • Able to lead projects/implementations as the primary liaison between IT and Business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, and deploy solutions
  • High level of customer service

Essential Functions
  • Provides functional support of Supply Chain system(s). Guide junior configurators with support and serve as an escalation point of contact
  • Manage user issues and ticketing system related to application problems
  • Identifies risks and issues and escalates as necessary.
  • Work directly with software vendor(s), ie. Manhattan Associates, to report defects as well as priority to ensure fixes are provided
  • Integrate new products and solutions into existing environment for continuous improvement
  • Work concurrently on multiple projects and tasks across different business units.

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)
  • This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week
  • This job typically doesn’t need travel but occasional travel may be required including air and car travel for attending training, conferences or Store / Warehouse visits.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements Medium Work – Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
