STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in LA, Atlanta, New York, Raleigh, and more.MS Power Apps Developer The PowerApps Developer is responsible for the frontend and backend design and development of new web applications from the ground up. The Power Apps Developer will play a role in the research and requirements gathering when designing new web applications. This role also works alongside other team members and will provide guidance and best practice methods when engaged in web-based application development projects. RESPONSIBILITIES- Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
- Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software
- Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
- Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
- Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
- Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Participates in the development of software user manuals
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in web application design and development
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in software and database design
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with MS Power Apps design and development
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in web-based technologies (Node/.Net/HTML/JavaScript)
- Experience developing PowerApps model
- Understanding of custom connectors in Power Apps
- Experience developing solutions in SharePoint
- Experience integrating SharePoint and Power Apps solutions
- Knowledge of building formulas/table to table relationships/custom reports
- Knowledge of the different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle and industry best practices
- Proficiency in flow diagrams and documentation of software requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and understanding of complex user requirements
- Database management and development
- Database migration and migration troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and application security
- Experience with Quickbase Application Development (a plus)
- Knowledge of QuickBase API and Cloud Integration (a plus)
- QuickBase Certification – App Builder (a plus)
- Knowledge of Salesforce and/or NetSuite structures and APIs
- Experience supporting users in a professional services environment
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence others in a positive manner
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, prioritize multiple projects on a daily basis, and adjust to shifting priorities
- Experience with analyzing, working with and presenting data
