Title: Principal Consultant - Identity & Access Management (IDAM) SME Location: Atlanta, GA (Sandy Springs) -(Day 1 Onsite)Job description: Role Summary/Purpose:GE Healthcare’s Identity and Access Management platform component (IDAM) is the Edison IDAM Services, which provides Identification and Access Management as a Service (IDAMaaS) for all applications which meant to be deployed on Edison Platform and intended to be used by authenticated Users (Human, Application or Device Users) to control access to the resources managed by them. The core concept of IDAM is to provide device, user and organization management as well as standard mechanisms for applications to authenticate identities and determine what functionality the identity is authorized to use. IDAM capabilities need to interoperate with existing identity solutions and applications as well as minimize development efforts for new applications. Responsible for troubleshooting IDAM application and ensuring that support tickets are resolved in a timely fashion.Responsibilities:Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients, addressing IDAM-related issues promptly and effectively.Analyze logs, review code, and triage issue tickets to identify the root cause of problems.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve application reliability, quality, and time-to-resolution for tickets.Assist with application integrations with IDAM, ensuring seamless functionality.Maintain a comprehensive database of issues and resolutions using the ticketing system.Update and maintain technical documents and standard operating procedures.Resolve technical issues reported by customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction.Prepare maintenance and upgrade schedules for the system, communicating outage windows to customers.Take ownership of tasks and deliverables, working independently while seeking assistance when needed.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer or support engineer with hands-on approach.Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IDAM) domain, including experience with platforms like WSO2, OKTA, or others.Proficiency in SAML, WS Federation, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect 1.0.Expertise in Java 8+, JavaScript, Spring Boot, and Spring framework (Core, Boot, Web, Security).Familiarity with Python and Angular.Experience with AWS, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFront, CloudWatch, AWS Lambda, ECR, and IAM.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
