Job DescriptionAs a member of Oracle Health's Service Resiliency Program, you will be critical to advancing the operational excellence of Oracle Health. You will be a valued partner with and consultant to Service Owners to help them design, deliver, and deploy reliable services. You will design and develop software solutions to enhance Oracle Health's Observability capabilities. Your work will help identify common problem themes and patterns that threaten resiliency at Oracle Health. The work will be varied and complex needing daily independent judgement to ensure stability for the clinicians on the front lines of healthcare.A successful candidate will bring a passion for problem-solving, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work closely with software engineers, product managers, and operations teams. Our team consists of people from a wide variety of backgrounds, and different professional and life experiences, who support each other to build things the right way and enjoy our vacation time.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Service Resiliency Program, you will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and operations teams to design, deploy, and develop solutions to observe and monitor the customer experience of our products and the performance of the services those products depend on. You will enable them to leverage data to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products and services are performant and available for our customers.Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications include:

Proactively monitoring and analyzing customer usage and experience data to identify and address issues before they become problems

Collaborating with customers and/or customer aligned teams to understand customer needs related to the user experience

Working with engineering, product, and operations teams to use data to measure and improve the reliability and performance of our products and services

Conducting and participating in post-incident reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and prevent similar incidents from happening in the future

Strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as Python. Experience with SQL is crucial, working with data and databases.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with data modeling, database design, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is essential.

Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka is highly desirable.

Skilled in monitoring and logging tools like New Relic, Splunk, etc

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field is recommended for this position.

Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
