Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Production Artist in the retail industry, located in Atlanta GA. This role involves meticulous execution and production of top-tier design projects. As a Production Artist, you will be tasked with preparing final press-ready files, resolving artwork issues, ensuring brand consistency, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Responsibilities: Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for various types of printing Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production Ensure consistency of brand and creative guidelines across different media including print, digital, packaging, and more Review and proof files before they are sent out for printing or digital publishing Collaborate closely with graphic designers, marketing team, and other departments to ensure all designs align with the brand image Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of each project Adapt existing artwork to different formats and sizes as required for various applications Stay current with the latest design trends, software, and techniques to maintain a fresh and innovative approach to production design Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process and find effective solutions Proficiently use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software to create and modify designs.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Production Artist role or similar capacity Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign Demonstrated skills in creating advertisements, brochures, and other marketing materials Proven experience with artwork creation in both digital and print production Excellent design skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics Familiarity with print production processes and standards Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proactive in identifying and solving problems Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and emerging technologies within the design industry.
