Production Operator

Avery Dennison is looking for a dependable team player to lead machine setups, monitor precise production sequences, and keep our manufacturing line running smoothly.In this role, you won't just push buttons—you’ll understand how the machine works, troubleshoot root causes when issues arise, and help us produce defect-free products for our customers. Ideal candidates must be able and flexible to work one of the assigned shifts.The shift schedules are as follows: 2nd shift (2 pm-10 pm) 3rd shift (10 pm-6 am)  Hourly RateThe starting wage for Finishing & Coating Operators is $22.47/hr + $2/hr. shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift. Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential functions may include, but are not limited to: Machine Operation: Perform routine setups, changeovers, and equipment adjustments to run orders to exact specification.Quality & Precision: Monitor gauges, meters, and standard measuring tools (tape measures) to catch abnormalities before they create waste.Logistics & Material Handling: Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts/heavy equipment) to load, move, and ship materials.Problem Solving & Care: Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and investigate mechanical issues to identify root causes.Team Collaboration: Step outside daily tasks to support teammates, participate in continuous improvement, and keep the facility safe and efficient
