Established and expanding company located in a good location in east / central AL has an opportunity for a

Production Supervisor that will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of products by supervising staff, as well as organizing and monitoring workflow. The Production Supervisor will oversee operations of all production areas to ensure volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved. The environment is high volume and there is much automation. It is a night shift position that is a 12 hour rotating shift. Very good benefits begin on the first day of employment.

Duties and Responsibilities · Provide production analysis and make recommendations/provide solutions to improve processes · Extensive knowledge of production concepts, practices, and procedures · Ability to organize work groups and monitor progress · Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing practices · Ability to supervise staff (communicating job expectations, coaching, counseling) · Ability to enforce company policies and procedures · Ensure consistency of product/product standards are met · Ability to maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the production process · Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively meet assigned deadlines · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Ability to ensure operation of equipment (calling for repairs); evaluate new equipment · Ability to compile and analyze production records · Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment · Knowledge of MS Word and Excel · Basic knowledge of SAP/MES systems · Other duties as assigned
