The successful candidate will be a “people person,” with excellent verbal and written communication-skills, who is able to communicate and work with a variety of constituents, including faculty directors, graduate student clinicians, and clients from the community. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to work independently, be extremely organized, handle a variety of tasks concurrently, and identify and keep abreast of factors that will ensure the success of the graduate clinician training program.JOB DESCRIPTION:Primary duties are organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of a program and its related activities which include, but are not limited to the following

establishing long-term operational objectives, researching factors that may impact the success of the program, and working with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements in order to provide appropriate input into the development of strategic plans.

Develops work plans to accomplish program goals and objectives and monitors progress toward their achievement.

Conducts research and gathers information to develop various publications.

Develops promotional materials which may include content for reports, briefings, newsletters, grants or other written information related to the program.

Assists in developing and coordinating program-related conferences, conventions, or meetings.

Monitors expenditures and may participate in the budget planning process and prepare financial reports.

May assist in identifying funding resources and developing fund-raising strategies and initiatives.

Prepares operational and statistical reports.

Conducts training, represents the program at meetings and conferences, and networks with affiliated groups.

May supervise assigned project staff, interns and/or volunteers.

Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Primarily On Campus : Functions essential to being performed primarily on campus and role may have ability to work from home on average 1-2 days per week.The Program Coordinator for the Psychological Center is the sole administrator for the Psychological Center, a small training clinic in which clinical PhD students provide psychological therapy and testingto the Atlanta community.Specific duties include:

Graduate Clinician Training Program Administration – work with Clinic Directors to track student clinician training and progress; ensure clinicians in training learn and comply with required clinical processes, evaluations are collected and filed at the end of each semester, monitor supplies of and order psychological testing materials, plan and coordinate continuing education workshops, and ensure that continuing education paperwork is recorded with the state

Clinic Administration and Accounting – on-board new clients, ensure all consent forms and other required forms are completed and on file, ensure clients are added to the on-line payment system, collect, process, and reconcile client fees, ensure all constituents are HIPPA trained and compliant; supervise work study student receptionists, submit faculty and student reimbursements; maintain and reconcile the Center’s financial budget on a monthly basis.

Administrative Duties – greet clients and families and administer on-line, check-in assessment for therapy clients; answer incoming calls, take and forward messages; maintain Center appointment schedule; manage, clean, and stock waiting room with refreshments and magazines; maintain office supplies and equipment as needed.
